As a booth sponsor, the Greater Irvine Chamber supported the annual OC International Summer Mixer and Business Showcase organized by the British American Business Council of Orange County, and held on July 26 at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine.

With more than 25 invited international-American chambers and business associations, the Chamber’s Diana Le, manager of Business and International Development, and Dinh Ta, manager of Business Development, connected with members of the international community during the evening networking event, which also included samplings of international cuisine. Among the participants were representatives from Britain, Germany, Iran, Poland, and Sweden to name a few.

“The Chamber is dedicated to supporting the international community and celebrating the diverse culture and ideas that help fuel Irvine’s economic vitality,” Le said. “To be engaged with representatives from the international community in a social setting allows us to strengthen as well as establish new relationships the Greater Irvine Chamber has with organizations representing cultures from far reaches of the globe. We were able to discuss areas of opportunities and solutions for business expansion in the greater Irvine area.”
