A special Community Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, will provide a City of Irvine update on the nation’s largest parkland project of 688 acres including the 194-acre Sports Park; the state’s largest Community Ice Facility; and ask those who attend to provide input about still-to-be-built segments of the Orange County Great Park.
The Great Park meeting will be at Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks. The team’s affiliate is developing a public Community Ice Facility at the Great Park, to grand open in 2018.
The agenda includes a City staff presentation, special video, surveys for input, maps and ideas, along with information about the Community Ice Facility.
