Group Vice President of Program and Contract Management
Parker Aerospace, Parker Hannifin Corporation
Barry Draskovich is the group vice president of program and contract management for Parker Aerospace, a global leader in aerospace systems and components used on most aircraft programs in production in the world today, including commercial and defense aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial systems.
Parker Aerospace employs 5,800 team members, in 38 locations worldwide, including the Americas, Asia, and Europe. It is an operating group of Parker Hannifin Corporation, a $11 billion manufacturer of motion and control technologies, based in Cleveland, Ohio, with 49,000 people in 49 countries.
An expert in the challenges of doing business globally, Draskovich oversees critical contracts and program management practices throughout Parker Aerospace, which directly affect Parker’s support of such significant programs as the Boeing 787 and 737 MAX, Airbus A350 and A320neo, Bombardier C Series, and COMAC C919.
Draskovich has over 30 years of experience with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Honeywell Aerospace, Mobility Electronics, AlliedSignal Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney, in addition to Parker. He also served as a member of the steering committee for a US-Canada trade organization.
He has established a proven methodology for improving corporate productivity through the implementation of processes, tools, and techniques critical for precise business execution in both small start-up companies and multi-national corporations. His team has been recognized by the Project Management Institute as a finalist for the 2016 PMO of the Year award.
Draskovich earned a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering and a master of science degree in materials science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is certified as a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and is certified in Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma. In addition, he holds six US patents.
There will be an interactive interview session with several local business leaders already engaged in exporting their products and services successfully around the globe.
Networking and one-on-one consultations with trade and business organizations will be available for attendees following the program.
