World Trade Week 2016
In its second year, the Orange County World Trade Week Breakfast & Forum brought almost 400 guests and attendees to the Irvine Marriott and stimulated an even bigger commitment to global trade among Orange County businesses.
Keynote Speaker: Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, President & CEO, Earth Friendly Products, “Act Local. Think Global”
The event keynote was delivered by Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, President & CEO, Earth Friendly Products. Vlahakis-Hanks oversees five manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and a global sales team operating in 60 countries. Internationally recognized for her highly effective leadership and influential voice in the green movement and corporate social responsibility, she is a graduate of UCLA and Chapman University Argyros School of Business and Economics. The family-owned business story has been featured on CNN, ABC News, FOX News, NBC News, Bloomberg and Marketwatch, the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Register. In 2014, she was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the Orange County Global Women’s Conference. Vlahakis-Hanks will share her company story and experiences – “Act Local. Think Global.”

Marv Sepe, COO of CTC Global, head strategist for the Chamber’s International Development Committee and Vice Chair of the Southern California District Export Council shares an Export Pathway designed to help businesses navigate more easily through exporting.

An interactive interview session with several local business leaders already engaged in exporting their products and services successfully around the globe will be a highlight of the program. Among those who shared their compelling stories are:
