The development of computer-assisted intelligence is one of the most important developments in the history of the world. Literally, AI over the next several decades will transform every business and will impact the lifestyles of every human being on the planet. The beginnings of this are evident in early stages today, such as driverless cars and automated assistants in our phones. But these applications are just the beginning…

Join Irvine Builds Businesses Host Robert Coleman as he presents a special report showing how AI will both create and eliminate countless jobs in the business community. 24th Annual Seaport Operations Tour & Harbor Cruise Luncheon

Thursday, July 20, 07:45 AM - Thursday, July 20, 04:00 PM

Categories: (none)

JOIN WITOC for our 24th Annual Seaport Operations Tour & Harbor Cruise Luncheon. Learn from and network with port authorities, industry professionals, container terminal and freight station operators, warehouse and distribution proprietors and view cargo movements and port operations from the ground, rail and sea. (continental breakfast will be served on the bus en route to the Port)

Highlights of this year’s tour include: Tour of the Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) to see the Pier E redevelopment project combining two aging shipping terminals into the greenest, most technologically advanced container terminal in the world. Pier E facility opened in April of 2016 so we will witness the latest environmental and technological achievements and see first-hand unloading of cargo from a vessel calling into port.

Narrated 90 min tour of the Port of Long Beach aboard Spirit Cruises w/lunch for a close-up view of the largest port complex in the United States with the opportunity to meet and greet Harbor officials. See towering cranes, the most advanced and green terminal in the world, new infrastructure projects such as the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement, and possibly even catch a glimpse of local marine life.

Tour of Price Transfer’s MET (Trade Compliance) Facility. Price Transfer is the Industry Leader in CBP Centralized Examination Stations. Join this tour to get an exclusive behind the scenes look at their MET (Trade Compliance) Facility and witness Trade Enforcement Examinations. This is a very special treat as U.S. CBP Officials rarely permit the public to walk through this type of facility.
