The Greater Irvine Chamber will roll out five key strategic areas of emphasis for the next fiscal year. We need your help to align our work of the Business & Workfoce Development and International Development committees with these areas so we can optimize our resources and outcomes. This is your opportunity to weigh in.
Some of the challenges we will examine include:
- How do we increase Cybersecurity awareness in the workplace and education?
- What are the best strategies we can employ to attract small and medium sized businesses to engage with the Chamber and the best ways to serve their specific needs?
- What must we do to retain the talent being generated by our colleges and universities in Irvine/OC?
- How can we enhance the relationship between Orange County’s non-profits and the local business community?
Bring your best questions and ideas about how to enhance, change and improve existing programs.
Bring your new ideas for programs or initiatives for discussion.
Bring your opinions, perspectives and experiences to a variety of economic, workforce, international, export and business issues.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join fellow members, colleagues and business community leadership as we debate, discuss and propose action on current business issues and challenges.
Your opinions are essential, your perspectives invaluable. Together, we will set the course for 2018 - 2019. Together, we can make a difference and positively influence the business environment and economic vitality of Irvine and Orange County!
The Economic Vitality Council meets twice a year to share committee and task force work with Chamber membership and the community. EVC committees meet monthly to review and discuss progress reports and recommendations.
