International Development Committee
The International Development Committee (IDC) aims to expand opportunities and grow the impact of trade, export, and foreign direct investment on Irvine’s businesses and economy, enhance the value of our diversity, optimize competitive global positioning, and strengthen Irvine’s international profile.
Tuesday, November 27, 2018 @ 12:00 p.m. at the Chamber offices
This month we will discuss:
- Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): The Irvine Life Science Showcase was a hit! Our U.K. delegation was fully engaged, had a great time, and we're excited about the next steps!
- OC World Trade Week 2019: Join us as we begin the logistics discussion of the biggest trade event in Orange County! Work with us as we scale this event to grow its outreach and leverage its influence for optimal impact!
- OC Trade Coalition: This Task Force has produced a report on the best ways to establish how best to engage with Orange County’s International-American Chambers so we can leverage the strength of these partnerships to help more companies expand their markets with exporting and encourage investment here. Join us to learn more.
Don't miss it!
